Trinity Ball 2021
The ongoing restrictions on live events here in Ireland provided me the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to brand and market a Trinity Ball. Trinity Ball is Trinity College Dublin's black-tie music festival, typically hosted on the Trinity Campus in city centre Dublin. This year due to restrictions on live-events, Trinity Festival 2021 was hosted by Trinity Ents and livestreamed to Youtube, featuring a lineup of some of Ireland's best up-and-coming artists.
The project brief called for a brash design that referenced some of Trinity's most iconic features. I opted to draw from contemporary Y2K aesthetics and employed digital 'half-tone' techniques to create a bright, sparkly and attention-grabbing design that stood out from the typical feed content seen in TCD. I opted for 3 colour-schemes, each based on the cocktails that the team had chosen to pair with the event. Passionfruit Martini, Cosmopolitan and the Purple Rain.
