Started a company called Boiled Beans Inc in 2011, which was a technology incubator based in San Francisco. After raising angel money, the first project launched was a mobile app called approves.it – a facebook like button for the real world. It was an iOS and Android app that let people take pictures of their favorite things in the real world, and it generated a taste profile, and a map – so you can see a city through someone’s favorite things. The product extension was the mapping angle, which allowed a data perspective to real world exploration – like a cup of coffee in a café could have so many ‘approves’. Approves.it was selected to showcase at Techcrunch Disrupt 2012 in San Francisco.
