A mooncake is a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. They are primarily round, to reflect the shape of the moon. Mooncakes have also appeared in western countries as a form of delicacy. In Ukraine, mooncakes can be purchased from mooncake_ua, a small family manufacturer, based in the city of Dnipro. There are 10 types of sweet vegan fillings and 3 sugar-free alternatives available. The brand’s design principles were derived from the brand’s positioning: naturalness, openness, friendliness. It was decided to develop a brand identity based on soft colors and minimalist shapes which refers to the circularity shape of mooncakes.
