Ziv Sade, photographer, was born in Kibbutz Afikim, Israel in 1986. Ziv is a self-taught young photographer who, at a very young age began photographing his surroundings - at first with a video camera, he directed and edited many films in high school. Later he recieved his first film camera and since then has not stopped shooting. Ziv walks the streets of Tel-Aviv, her different neighborhoods and shopping centers, absorbing and exploring the atmosphere of the city, as a separate entity which stands alone and also the individuals who populate the city and fill it with their hopes, disapointments, struggles and their mere existence.
Ziv's compositions are geometric - they are an interplay of people, landscapes and still-life that mingle together and create shapes, and a feeling of isolation and loneliness in relation to their space in reality. The tapestry of objects and characters in Ziv's world create an aesthetic of a drawing, immortalizing fleeting moments in a mundane reality, by removing them from all context and creating a feeling of non-time, remote and pure, providing the viewer a vicirrel experience of seeing those moments through the young eyes of this promising
photographer.
