Zeynep Başay is an art director / illustrator based in Istanbul / Turkey. She received her bachelor degree in graphic design at Başkent University. Then, she moved to Switzerland to be part of the MFA programme which is a collaboration of the University of Illinois and the Basel School of Design. There, she investigated how a designer’s technique and knowledge of drawing can support the understanding of reality in traditional and digital ways. After receiving her MFA in visual communication, she came back to Turkey and worked as an art director and freelance illustrator. She is currently working as an art director in Istanbul, and continues to give visual forms to creative solutions with Fikr’et. Read Less
