About Me – “Going through Church Various Ministries Intern Now.”
I like to observe and contemplate humanity and how things work. I like knowing the Truth. I like designs that gather new friends together. I like encouraging and uplifting words. I believe in learning from, and growing with the youths to make an impact :)
Interests - "Design can bridge the world.”
From profound and philosophical observations, expressed and executed into simple and simulating works, creating fresh experiences and opportunities to repair, restore and rekindle our body, mind and soul. I studied interior design naively thinking that beautiful home will encourage families to have meals and activities together more often. Looking at the past works, design thinking, process and details is what I hold seriously in and am always passionate and seduced at spaces and design that is alive; with people interacting with or within the little intangible-emotional or physical space and each other. Unconsciously, after years of studies, am in love with design simply because I believe that design can change the world, or at least put a smile to a person's face, that's a good enough starting point!
Direction – "Nation Oneness"
I hope, someday, every corner in Singapore has designed-opportunities for strangers to meet and be engaged with one another to make the nation a better place. After all, in my opinion, our ‘likely-forgotten’ national's identity is; "Different ways of life building a nation harmoniously." https://www.facebook.com/notes/yong-mu-ming/singapore-identity/10151337263168522 So with some understanding and interests of physics, optical illusions, mechanism, psychology, observations, sensitivity, communication, bonding, leadership, humour, etc, and cultivating a loving and willing heart for the different walks of life, used in spaces, interior, installation, etc, want to give it a shot to fulfil this.
