500 Pencils = 25 colors x 20 months
The idea is this:
Each month for 20 months, I'm receiving 25 colored pencils by mail from Japan - packaged in like tones and hues. Each pencil is its own story. A unique hue with an inventive name.
I decided to draw 25 Self Portraits... After 20 months I will draw 500...
