Maria Delfino aka "Recklessxiam" started drawing at 2, began studying the arts at age 13 after getting an arts scholarship in the Philippines. She only knew how to draw stick people back then and was surprised when she got accepted amidst the other kids that brought in impressive and advanced works. After undergoing rigorous formal training as a teen, she found her niche in oil painting. At the university, she graduated B.A. Communication Arts, majoring in Writing.
Throughout her meanderings, she became highly influenced by pop and subcultural iconography---ranging from tattoo art, music, fashion, film, etc. She's self-taught in graphics design and continues to expand and enhance her skills with what time allows. Read Less
