‘I tell stories…’

A succesful drawing tells a story. I always ask myself : What is it I want to tell with this drawing, and how can I be as clear as possible. Every element in the drawing should be supporting the story.

There is a story in a traditional portrait, a children’s book illustration, as well as a cartoon character or a background design for an animation. I don’t refer to a spoken story, in words. Drawing is a visual language. My story is what you see when you look at my work.

Over the years I told many stories in magazines, books, commercials and animations.

Please enjoy browsing my portfolio. Recent works, sketches and news can be found on my blog.

I share tutorials, step-by-step insights of my painting process and tips on my tutorial blog.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you want me to tell your story.
