With a background in journalism, I bring a focus on the message and the audience to my work in web design, interactive projects and social media campaigns. In order to communicate anything, you first have to decide what you’re saying. Then, and only then, can it be conveyed effectively.

I've worked for several clients in the healthcare industry, including Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Children’s Mercy Hospital and the Immune Deficiency Foundation. Partnering with these clients, he lead the design of an independent social network, created motion graphics for several Board of Trustees presentations and lead the design of interactive educational demonstrations.

I've also worked with several food clients including Danisco, Dean Foods, Dairy Farmers of America and American Italian Pasta Company. With these clients, I lead the design of six brand-new consumer Web sites, built on a custom integrated marketing platform developed by Global Prairie. The most promoted site, MuellersPasta.com, currently records a 92% opt-in rate for all new visitors. He has also worked on a 2010 Social Media Outreach campaign, lead the design of a new product blogger outreach initiative and several promotional microsites.

I've lead design projects to benefit the Salvation Army, Project Change and Harvesters. He also worked on the redesigned Cosmosphere.org. Wes volunteers on a weekly basis with area high school journalism programs, helping provide students with the same opportunity to find the passion that continues to drive him. Read Less
