Entrepreneurs Club BrandingA fresh look for the freshest young talent in Boston
I've been passionate about design for a long time, but my affinity for entrepreneurship is relatively fresh. I joined the Northeastern Entrepreneurs Club and was the only designer there. Everyone else was an engineer, finance major, or business major. The club had no brand and no presence on campus, but they had high aspirations. After my first year, they asked me to become "the IT guy" and manage the website. I had something else in mind.
I created a new role – "Creative Director". It was my job to brand the club so we could play a larger role in entrepreneurship in Boston. We started with the primary mark, but soon created sub-brands for each of the clubs' programs.
- Entrepreneurship Immersion Program
- Social-E
- Husky Startup Challenge
- iMadeIT
Since the rebrand and marketing push, membership has increased over 300%.
Not bad.
