I live in Belgrade, Serbia – former Yugoslavia republic. I was born in small a town, Bor, with one of the largest copper mines in Europe in ’85. When I was in high school I attended a school for talented artist in Bor in professor Zoran Stankovic’s class. He is a brilliant man and through my studies of nature my vision started to grow. First I wanted to be a painter but after high school I realized that design is my calling. I graduated from Polytechnic University of Belgrade in 2009 with a major in industrial design. I learned a lot through my studies, I perfected technical drawing and 3d modeling, concept thinking and developing. My creativity started to grow as I examined the industrial design world, the connection between objects, the materials, aesthetics and function. I love Bauhaus and Scandinavian approach in creating objects for everyday use. For me design is Art, it is more than art, it is a tool to express my emotions, a connector with the public. My first big concept product is the Grass lamp, I’m especially proud that a product of my creative thought gets a lot of public attention. I can certainly say that I’m happy, but I’m constantly trying to improve myself, as a human, as a designer and as an artist. Read Less
