Growing up I had a passion for comics and animation. I declared at a very young age that I would be an artist. In college I was an illustration major, then painting major, and finally printmaking. I loved all of those backgrounds equally. It wasn't until my last year school when I interned at an interactive branding agency doing illustration where I realized I could utilize all of my talents and learn new tools. Design was such an abstract thing for me at the time, but I had such an appreciation for it. This is were I began to learn how to marry design with my fine arts background. I screen printed posters for bands, painted murals for the Mural Arts Program, taught for the Fabric Workshop and Museum all while I was still developing my design background. At my first internship I gained a love for branding and flash animation. Flash for me was cool, but for more complex animations it just wasn't cutting it. This is where I picked up another skill, 3d animation and modeling. I'm from the start an illustrator. So I wanted to make my illustrations come to life so I began to create models of my work. Once I became confident in my ability to produce 3d work I made it another tool in the creative toolbox and a selling point for client work. I am multi-faceted and have an uncanny ability to go from one medium to the next to produce the best outcome. Read Less
