Youth Social Enterprise Initiative (now known as ChangFusion) an organization based in Thailand asked Idea!s to design their guidebook for Upstart Social Entreprenuers. The book was written by two young authors (Sunnit and Dev), who are experts in the social entrepreneurship field.
The overall direction that they wanted was to make the book bold and at the same time nice looking. i came up with the use of the stairs as the overall design concept for the book to symbolize starting up. The idea of the stairs has been done before but for this one it was executed in such a way that it wasnt "too serious". The two characters in the Chapter Headings are the authors in cartoon version (the content of book were taken from their experiences and the knowledge they get while starting up).
