I like type (especially handmade typography) and vector based illustrations. My favorite designers/illustrators are Jessica Hische, John Passafiume, Dana Tanamachi, Liz Meyer, Jeff Rogers, Darren Booth, Paul Rand, Doyald Young and Louise Fili.

Book recommendations: I highly recommend reviewing The Universal Penman Engraved by George Bickham. It is a great book to look at for learning how to script or even work on your swash marks. Read Less
