Dean Financial Services

Kashif Dean of Dean Financial Services (www.deanfinancialservices.ca) wanted a brochure website for his newly launched financial services business. The client already had a logo by another designer that he wanted integrated into the website, so the goal was to provide a professional-looking site based on the provided branding.

OAN Annual Report 2008

The Ontario AIDS Network (www.ontarioaidsnetwork.on.ca) wanted to work with a local designer to improve the look and feel of their Annual Report for 2008. Using their current branding, along with the photography from a past project of their's, it wasn't too difficult to stick with the requirements: colour for the covers, greyscale for the interior, and sizing to be within half a standard 8.5x11 page - I went for a horizontally-oriented half-page, instead of vertically-oriented, in this case.

Katherine L. Lannin

The client, Katherine L. Lannin (a photographer) wanted a website to showcase her work (www.katherinellannin.com). She was featured in Toronto's Nuit Blanche in 2008, and partly wanted to commemorate her work for that night. The design of the website was largely art directed by the client, with some typography work thrown in there by me. Most of my focus was the development of the site in XHTML/CSS and JavaScript (for the galleries). The client did not want a Flash portfolio, and insisted on the use of the Gill Sans Light font throughout the site.
