• Work closely with editorial staff providing time-sensitive materials to
enhance stories for the daily newspaper.

• Design promotional materials for both the marketing and media services
departments including billboards, ads, direct mailers and special section covers.

• Design sales material for Community Sports Desk and VigeoMedia. The sales
materials are used to promote their digital sports magazines and the advertising
programs inside these publications.

• Responsible for designing everything from menus to full identity pieces.
Anything in print form.

• Work with art director to design and maintain several bath and body product lines.

• Responsible for designing material for sales force to show product lines.

• Hand-generate comps for photography.

• Work with creative director on a regular-basis to design promotional materials
for the sales staff.

• Preparing talent-supplied art for distribution in print and digital formats.

• Set standards for the production of syndicated weekly and editorial art and
see that these standards remain consistent.

• Oversee a full-time and part-time production artists working on syndicated
weekly and editorial art as well the Chicago Tribune comic pages.

• Work with operations manager to ensure timely release of all syndicated weekly
and editorial art.
