I like to take elements out of their accepted and habitual context, thus giving them a new and often incongruous meaning. I aim to bring my viewers to question their own perceptions, hopefully making them conscious of the transitional and ephemeral quality of the process by which we humans confer meaning to things.
I was born in Paris, France, and I've lived in Montreal, New York, San Francisco, and San Jose, Costa Rica. I work in many mediums, including photography, video, animation, illustration, and installation. I am also one half of creative duo Notice Bureau, with which I've worked on short films, music videos, and other projects in collaboration with the fashion and music industry.
