Earlier, I was inspired by many innovations that are considered amazing. By amazing, I mean that by first glance, it will strike the person experiencing it; whether it is the design, function, or an impression, even curiosity. This can be accomplished through many techniques but it has to be powerful enough to stop the person in their tracks.
I wanted to be able to create something just as amazing in the future, to acquire the skills that are essential. I've realised something that has given me passion to move on into the field of design. Humanity was simply about sustaining the race, this means to hunt, to eat, and to breed. However, we've already passed that stage, this is the stage of development; I believe that this can be achieved by developing what we've got. Here is where design comes in, to help improve humanity. My passion for Product Design stems from a Japanese comic. It is about a high school boy who is capable of creating anything he wants overnight. Each thing he creates gets turned into products overnight, then it changes people’s lives in an astonishing way. I’ve been searching ever since to find a way to be able to create products that would influence people’s everyday life, however the beauty of the product isn’t limited to just its function or design, its emotion is also just as important in bringing joy to the consumer’s life.

I am not only fascinated by the design and aesthetics but also by the development of a product and its process of production. I’ve been to the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart, witnessing the evolutionary process is inspirational. I was truly amazed when I visited factories in Germany, Japan and China, the way machines are built to serve their purposes so effectively. Each different technology being integrated into one huge system is simply amazing. Read Less
