TengChuan Tey holds a diploma from The One Academy of Communication Design in Malaysia. He is currently Expansion Director for Europe and Latin America of IdN magazine. He also works as a Art Director for SUPERKIDS. An educational materials publisher for young children. He was responsible for the exposure and promotion campaigns of the Directorate General for Planning, Assessment and Control of the Department of Agriculture and Water for the Autonomous Region of Murcia. Among others, he has carried out work for the Social Services Department of Murcia and the University of Murcia, as well as campaigns associated with the rights of children. He is also a member and part of the management team of the association of graphic designers, Solidus, a graphic design NGO.

Tey has been selected and finalist of INJUVE Spanish National Young Designer Awards 2010. He also was awarded The One Academy Platinum Achiever Awards by his former college in year 2005. Named National Youth Ambassador for Malaysia in 2003 in the category of Information Technology from a list of 28 candidates in 10 categories. Winner of the 2002 National Multimedia Competition of Malaysia, presented by the Irish President, Mrs. Mary McAleese. Selected from three finalists in the 2002 MSC-APICTA (Multimedia Super Corridor-Asia Pacific Information & Communication Technology Awards) as the best student project. In 2001, he was nominated winner of the best proposal for the “National Creative Development Project” to create a multimedia project for the Basque Government (Spain), representing Malaysia.

Tey has also presented IdN as a speaker in several international design congresses, such as TMDG in Argentina and the International Festival of Visual Design and Culture in Santiago de Chile in 2009. Read Less
