Shout Out!
Hello/Saludos a tod@s! Here in the Mountains overlooking the Central Valley of Costa Rica, with an endless supply of patterns and colors, the Mac cranking 24/7... listo!
Unique Art - Tribal Design
Photoshop and Illustrator expert with 15 years experience on the Mac, roots in the 60's art of the Fillmore artists Wes Wilson, Kelly/Mouse, etc. applied creatively to advertising and marketing needs of clients in web and print. Corporate identity, logo and graphic design that takes you outside the box. Digital art and photography utilizing the tools of the 21st century to build on the ancient traditions of Celtic knot design, Huichol psychedelic colors, concepts from the Dharma.
Design to Feed Your Mind
Short attention spans, stressed out people... please take a breath... Open your eyes.
Cutting across the grain, swimming against the current... attributes that signify the willingness to go beyond and reap the benefits of being unique. In a world of increasingly "dumbed down" references, where the past is gone 60 seconds after it happened, the value of an image, or a logo, or an advertisement that stands alone for its complexity, shines in its depth, that offers more than a one time jolt: this is truly valuable, and interesting. This is my goal. This is my passion.
Celebrate It - Sell It
Minimalism. Simplicity. Cleanliness.
Ever look out your window on a drive into the hills? Did you see ANY of these things in nature?
Take for example the feeding habits of a Hummingbird. The flowers on a hillside all have their particular way of attracting their bird... and those who attract the lightning-fast, short attention span Hummingbird? Those with the richest of colors, the most outrageous contrasts in coloration, elegant and crazy shapes jutting into the air in a riot of rule-breaking complexity and detail.

Who wins in the competitive environment on the hillside? Not the minimalist, the "clean," the sterile. The economy of Nature is far more sophisticated than what passes for "Hip" in today's advertising environment, and I bet... you can catch a hummingbird too, if you let yourself go!
