/// AMONG THE ORGANIC facets of nature, the sacred symbols of spirituality and the vast complexities of humanity, I find myself compelled to create in reverence to and in homage of the beauty of life. Exploring the balance between reality and fantasy, weakness and strength, comfort and pain, and maturity and youth, I create intuitively, allowing my worldly muses to express their own visceral personalities and character through my chosen medium. In fact, opposites do seem to attract and the traditional definition of beauty and compatibility in art is ultimately challenged and reinterpreted.
From rose-adorned fowl and formally attired canines to a bejeweled pitchfork and repurposed metal, I leave a piece of myself with each work; it absorbs the spirit of the time and place in which it was created. My work is evocative of my life experiences, my daily observations and my appreciation for art and humor.
