ahh, distress. i worked in fashion for a long time and long hailed the demise of over-used distress to hide bad design and to weather-in the retro look. Yet i still love it when used effectively. i continue to use in my won work again and again, and can find no greater fun than 'distressing' a paper with folds, stains, burns, and whatever, and then scanning it in and placing it on top of too-synthetic looking digital work. god bless the overlay layer style!

I checked out your work and it's stunning, keep it up. I love the way in which you make the end result look worn out, very nice touch.
