I graduated with a degree in fashion design and like to think of myself as a designer and illustrator with a strong emphasis on research and forecasting.
Dreaming up collections as a ‘complete picture’ is what I like to do best. I like to look at society and current events, circumstances and occurances in relation to each other, do extensive research and come up with an image in which all details fit together (however strangely), an A to Z atmosphere.

My core interest are not so much clothes themselves, but their background and what you can say with them. What statement they can make, why & how people wear them, how habits differ from place to place. I guess I'm somewhat of a hobby sociologist & think that's where my strength lies.

I love to draw detailed pictures of what ideally a design or an end result would look like. Pictures in which all my ideas and research come together. In relation to that I like to design & incorporate jewelry and shoes my drawing and collections. Read Less

Over the past 4 years I've gotten serious about photography. Rather than 'just design,' I love to capture the beauty or reality of things already out there. To observe without judgment, to see things as they are - photography became my way to do just that.

I recently presented a photography art exhibition in the Nepal Art Council Gallery in Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Organized by Chomolungma UNESCO Center (http://www.cucweb.org), the exhibition 'Hue/Saturation' was a presentation of 365 photographs taken in Nepal over the course of three years. They were unframed and pasted onto the walls in a wave-like shape, bleding from one hue into the next - showing the country's richness in culture, color, religion, habits, customs, landscapes, cityscapes, ethnicities and diversity of people and their backgrounds.
By not taking any political or moral standpoint, but rather by presenting a view of Nepal in a wave of tones, the exhibition showed (at a distance) the rainbow of beauty the country has to offer, and (close up) the details of various aspects of daily life and the everyday things we tend to overlook too easily.

Information about the exhibtion can be found here:
