At Capital One, I manage the entire life-cycle of high-profile product design and innovation products. I conduct comprehensive market and consumer research to develop data-driven recommendations to improve user engagement and product growth. I also conceptualize and lead internal events such as Google Ventures-style design sprints, user studies, and hack-a-thons, to share knowledge and best practices across teams.

Recent accomplishments at Capital One include:
● Lobbied executive team and key stakeholders to implement conversational UI for a major company initiative; design was ultimately incorporated into Eno product offering.
● Proactively planned events and training aimed at retaining key staff and improving overall morale of the team.

During four years at Amazon as a UX Designer, I held direct responsibility for UX design enhancements for Author Pages, Write On by Kindle, Kindle First on eInk, Author Central, and Apub.com as well as contributed to GoodReads on Kindle and Kindle Scout. In this position, I was tasked with incubating ideas for patents and completing patent filing process. Additionally, I conducted design thinking workshops, user interviews, and user testing.

Key achievements from this position include:
● Conceptualized and built internal secure prototyping tool which was subsequently rolled out across the enterprise.
● Increased purchase conversion rate by 80% for My Author’s Pages by designing and strategically placing button that allowed interested users to sign up for product release updates.
