Studio FAnK is a small games and animation studio located in Utrecht, the Netherlands. We work in a small team of animators, a game designer/creative director and several interns. We focus on 'serious gaming' and 'serious animating', meaning there is always more to our projects than just fun. At the same time it means our projects aim to educate or to transfer information but are also considered to be entertaining; fun to watch. ing. Thijs Aarts, MA is Creative Director and founder of Studio FAnK. He studied game design, animation and he did a master of Arts focussing on digital media; interactive narrative in games and its relation to education. During his study he worked for several clients but officially he started Studio FAnK after his bachelor n 2007. He was still doing his masters during that time. After three years now his studio has grown and he surrounded himself with talented people to hep him work on projects for clients and on his own projects.
