Over the past 4 years I’ve been head of the design department managing a growing team of
creative designers, liaising regularly with the Senior Marketing Executive, Senior Buyer and
Company Director on product direction, development and brand strategy. I have implemented many projects including an identity rebrand to enable repositioning of the company into the high end marketplace, using the new identity guidelines a redesign of the packaging for the 6000 product lines in stock was also carried out with accompanying printed catalogues and corporate brochure being designed too. I’ve developed creative and refined branding and packaging solutions for 4 new product ranges, from high precision and eco friendly to traditional and design led product lines leading to a direct sales channel through internet giant Amazon. In addition to the branding created for Premier I’ve produced exclusive and guideline based packaging artwork for national clients such as ASDA, Aldi, BHS, Dunelm, Morrisons, Matalan, Netto, Primark, Rosebys,TK Maxx and Wilkinsons giving me a confident understanding of brand application. Responsibilities also include art direction for product photography and photo retouching. Working closely with the company events organiser I’m responsible for producing large format graphics and display stand designs for
the national exhibitions that Premier attend that includes hands on construction of POS displays.
