STEPHANIE STUMP is an artist and graphic designer from Chicago, Illinois. After obtaining a degree in graphic design from DePaul University in 2001, she worked as a print and web designer at Jell Creative on the north side of Chicago for over two years. She has been working as a freelance designer ever since.

Meanwhile, she moved to Philadelphia and earned her Masters of Fine Arts degree in printmaking and book arts from The University of The Arts. Stump has exhibited her works both nationally and internationally, and many of her pieces are included in such notable collections as the Pratt Institute Artist’s Book Collection, Printed Matter in New York, and the Free Library of Philadelphia Print Collection. She received numerous awards for her work including a fellowship from the Utsev Mandir Foundation in New Delhi India, where she completed a printmaking residency in 2008.

Stump has returned to her Chicago roots and now works as co-owner of Mighty Nice, Inc. with her brother, Chris. She continues to do freelance work as a graphic designer, letterpress printer and screenprinter, and occasionally still finds time for personal creative projects.
