Education

University Of East London

Master of Architecture: Sustainability and Design

The Master was divided into three main modules: Environmental Architecture; Urban Ecology; Final Thesis.
Environmental Architecture focused on providing and analyzing an environmentally sustainable design and test how it impacts on the environment in order to avoid the 'green wash' in architecture and the contradictory use of the three strands of sustainability, economy, ecology and equity.
Urban Ecology engaged with the current debates of urban sustainability and analyzed and critiqued how urban ecology strategies impact on the environment: particular interesting was the task to adapted the American benchmark assessment tool LEED ND to the UK urban scenario.
The Thesis module was focused on answering a topic question to reflect my skills, understanding and analysis, knowledge and personal interest and contribution to the field of environmental design.
