Creative Director for Aardman Animation for 10 years - mainly creating commercials, tv idents and occasionally short films. I also have a passion for cars so my work is divided into two areas - Animation/Character Design and Automotive Art and Photography.
One of the most enjoyable parts of being a creative director is the character design stage. There's often only a few days to work out how the character should look but it's still a fun process.
I've been lucky enough to be a press photographer at many great motorsports events. Recently I've been swapping the camera for a sketchbook. For the next few years I'll be the offiicial film maker, photographer and artisit for the 1000mph Bloodhound Land Speed Record team.
