Procter & Gamble (P&G)

Design Consultant

I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects which involved an understanding of the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) Industry through Market Research.
1. Designing and developing sustainable devices for High Frequency Stores/ Large and Medium Traditional Stores.
2. Understanding Shopkeeper and Consumer Behaviour and studying stocking and buying patterns was also a big part of my role with P&G. This was then followed by an in-depth analysis and the mapping of behavioural patterns and needs. This was followed on by the conceptualisation of the ideas generated, creating scenarios and designing devices to enhance the experience of the shoppers/consumers and solve the issues faced by the shopkeeper. Concepts were then followed by prototyping along with in field user-testing. Data gained from this testing was utilised to evaluate the effectiveness of the prototype on the consumer experience in a research project conducted as part of this exercise.

The other projects I worked on at P&G were: Packaging Design, Retail Research, Design of Display Units and Space Planning.
