Having roots in traditional art, I jumped into the world of design as an undergrad at RIT. I've honed my understanding of UX and UI at places like Yahoo! and DeviantART and as Co-founder/Creative Director of a TechStars Cloud company - Epic Playground.

Having developed my understanding of UX/UI in multiple arenas, I'm most passionate about shaping applications from the ground up. Starting with an idea and helping it grow from early UX to shipped product is always most gratifying. The constant evolution of how we interact on the day to day with apps that both entertain and aid is of incredible interest. Continually building and understanding such experiences is not simply a job, it's a craft!

While my primary focuses are Creative Direction, User Experience and User Interface - I've grown to be quite handy as a front-end developer. HTML/CSS are much like second languages with Twitter Bootstrap, SASS/LESS and jQuery also becoming part of my growing toolset. Read Less
