I am a web designer. Creating websites in the way you work, is what I used to do. I like to create beautiful & functional websites. I create mockup in PHOTOSHOP, then convert it to XHTML/CSS template, with a little bit Javascript. Thats it.
When someone needs CMS, I recommend WordPress.
