Shansan is an independent, multi-disciplinary design studio and communication consultancy based in Hangzhou / China with London connection. The studio aims to create experiences, whether they’re commissioned client-work or self-initiated projects. By working across divers disciplines, the studio consistently delivers exclusive, creative and easy-going solutions.In addition, Shansan produces a wide range of independent projects, including exhibitions, lectures, publications, and events. All efforts the collective has been making is to devote itself to exploring all facets of contemporary visual culture and communications.
We believe that good work should be creative, communicative and also could contain critical thinking.
The studio currently have foure members: Du Haodong, graduated from BA Graphic design, China Academy of Art (CAA). Ding Handong, BA&MA Graphic design,CAA. Shang Simin, BA Graphic design CAA, MA Graphic Design,Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London. Zhang Xiaowen, BA Graphic design CAA, MA Illustration,Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London.
We believe that good work should be creative, communicative and also could contain critical thinking.
