My design practice is largely focused on using both emerging and experimental techniques to address sustainability issues and to create social design.
In my professional work, I am interested in using alternative techniques to
explore global, national and community issues. In addition to producing community-based design projects, my personal work also involves experiments with mud stencils, plant bombing, and other earth-friendly yet publicly
engaging action.
My work reflects an interdisciplinary model for design as well as my desire to use design to engage with the world. This engagement with the world at large has run the gamut from working with Somalian refugees to distribute children books about cross culture to leading a workshop at a community center about consumption and reuse.
