Read Less

Seb Jarnot was born in 1970 by the banks of the Loire ; he studied visual communication and worked in advertising agencies for a few years and then in 1998 his career as a freelance illustrator began.

He worked with newspapers and magazines (les Inrocks, Libération, Le Monde, The Financial Times...), designed record jackets (Laurent Garnier, St Germain, William Sheller…) and worked on big advertising campaigns (Nike, Audi, Mercedes, L’Oréal...). His work could be seen world-wide and  appeared in many publications (Illusive, Graphic, Neo2, Xfuns…).

At the same time, Seb Jarnot developed more personal research. His book “3x7=15” which was published in 2004 by Die Gestalten Verlag (Berlin) gives a general idea of the bridges he has built between commissioned illustrations and artistic research.
His personal creations are regularly shown in exhibitions and participation in artistic projects in Europe and the United States.
