Sean Heavey is an established web designer and developer from the Baltimore area. Working in design and multimedia since he was 16, Sean has most recently been apply his knowledge of design and user experience to the world of web design and development for various companies and institutions in the Baltimore area
Along the way, Sean has accrued over 5 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia and digital imaging by working part-time while tending to his education. Sean has worked and interned for institutions such as the National Gallery of Art, National Geographic TV, and The United States Army Research Lab. He has also worked with local design and architecture firms in Baltimore as well as with government contractors working directly for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Most recently, Sean has dedicated himself to furthering the presence of the Visual Arts department at UMBC by working closely with student organizations such as the UMBC student chapter of the AIGA and the school's Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture. Currently, he continues to work part-time on campus at UMBC's New Media Studio as an assistant web designer while he gathers some much needed rest and plans the next chapter of his life. Read Less
