I’m a designer and 2nd generation creative director who grew up in the advertising industry and learned typography on my father's cast iron letterpress. I’m currently the Vice President and Senior Creative Director for Global Brand Design at Starwood Hotels & Resorts where I lead global digital design, film and video, and content strategy for their 9 brands including W Hotels, Westin, Sheraton, and St. Regis. Before leaving the agency world for Starwood I created award winning integrated branding and advertising for American Airlines, Disney, ExxonMobil, Nationwide Insurance, Subaru and many others. Over the course of my career I have also worked design consultant and launch partner with major creative brands like Apple, Microsoft and Adobe.
My work has been recognized with over 100 major awards and I was chosen by the editors of Media Post and OMMA magazines as one of three 2009 Online Marketing All-Stars. Based on my work I was invited to become a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences and one of the fifteen members of the Adobe Consumer Advisory Board.
