I am an impassioned educator equally at home working with kids and construction paper or powerpoint slides and the board of directors. I have training and experience in elementary education, staff development, education policy, academic / qualitative research, and all areas of advocacy. I specialize in literacy instruction in the workshop model, and have coached fellow teachers in reading comprehension and writing instruction for elementary students.
