My name is Meagan Warncke. I’m a 30-something wife and mother of one son. I live in the Austin area and have been there for over 20 years. I was born in Beaumont, TX, so I’m 100% Native Texan.
I have many hobbies including gardening, crafts, and reading, but my favorite hobby is cooking. I started Sarafina’s Kitchen in 2005 as a way to share recipes with friends and family that I had tried and loved. It’s grown over the past five years as a way to connect with other foodies and bloggers who share my same passions. I hope it serves as inspiration to new cooks that anyone can learn to cook. Most recipes are easy to follow and can easily be modified to suit everyone’s tastes.
