Sam uses uses a combination of traditional and digital media and is influenced by fine art, architecture, and comic books. He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He has been an intern in the studio of acclaimed painter Kent Williams, a planetarium operator, and upon graduating, he spent several years in architectural design. Sam lives and works in Maryland.
