Graduated from Basic Training and Officer Cadet School in the top 1% in a cohort of 5000 enlistees. Specially commissioned by Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong with the Sword of Merit.
Led a team of 18 soldiers in constructing and defusing explosives, in preparation for a combat evaluation involving 120 personnel. Attained the highest achievable standard (REDCON 1) for an Army platoon.
Awarded Engineer Commander Coin and received accelerated rank promotion for outstanding performance.
Graduated from Basic Coaching & Facilitation Course, Company Tactics Course, and Engineer Officer Advanced Course—now qualified to assume Officer Commanding role to lead a field engineer company of 120 soldiers.
