I'm a freelance photographer in Toronto who specializes in shooting people in fast-moving situations. People need their work done good and quick, and my experience in wedding and editorial photography is what I've been applying to my portrait photography. I moved into the CBC's Toronto offices and got the upper brass to move away from canned host photos towards intimate musician photography, away from book cover scans towards photos of Giller-winning authors in their element, away from publicist-provided shots that mean nothing to the intended audience towards internally created and curated work designed for individual project needs. Not an easy thing to do inside the Mother Corp.
