Originally from Scotland, I moved to Victoria B.C in 2009 and have never looked back.
Recently awarded my first movie credit for graphics on the critically acclaimed motion picture, 'I am Bruce Lee'
I am a major Geek across all levels of design/photography/tv/movies - you name it, I probably designed a t-shirt about it or have countless amount of bookmarks about the subject!
I do not shy away from my love of Star Trek (original show is the by far the best, lots of politics hidden in fantasy plot lines that still stand relevant today) and Star Wars - who doesn't want a lightsabre and a talking bear as a best bud?
I'm still counting the days till I have a Hoverboard (and I'm still saving for my first Delorean)
I critique every design I see. Some I admire and others I try to visualize what I'd do to make it better.
Graphic Design has been my passion since before I knew it was called Graphic Design! I love doing it in my spare time and I love learning new techniques to further advance my knowledge and skill set - I find it incredibly important to stay above the curve.
If I'm not practicing design, I'm playing football (soccer for you North American types) or I'm doing Yoga - something which I think everyone should try at least once, the health benefits are tremendous.
I take my job very seriously, however I think it's important to have fun while I'm doing it. This combination reflects itself in my work. My passion shines through in everything I do and wether I'm handed a complicated brief or a simplistic t-shirt commission, I make sure that it exceeds my clients, and my own, expectations. Read Less
