My re-emergence as a serious fine-art photographer has taken place over the past decade. I attempt to distill beauty from everyday nature. For example: Just Rust" is one series that takes a closer look at how nature peels away layers of man-made objects and, in the passage of time, creates a surface quality that’s beautifully complex, rich in color, and forever changing. My wide-format photographs offers a straight ahead approach to landscape photography-- one which weaves color, shape, form, and places the viewer into the scene, not physically, but rather by stimulating their senses, affected by light, atmosphere, and location.
In 1983, I received my MFA, Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Over the past two decades I've co-founded several commercial digital design studios that specialized in pushing the limits of online learning and training. My professional responsibilities have included designing meaningful connections for users of online information and e-learning courseware along with, corporate branding, washing dishes, and raising investment capital.
