Born and raised in New York City's Hell Kitchen neighborhood, art was always an integral part of her upbringing. Visiting museums and art exhibits at the tender age of 4, she always had a creative flare in everything she has pursued.
Yaritza recently graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a degree in Graphic Design where she studied with some of the industry greats, from Debbie Millman to James Victore. Prior to that, she attended Long Island University, where she was working towards a degree of fine arts with a concentration in photography. She describes herself as a visual thinker, "I think in pictures and colors." After attempting to pursue her career in photography, she decided to make the smooth transition to the School of Visual Arts in New York City to study graphic design and pursue her degree which she completed in May '08. She currently is seeking a fabulous job where she can put her creativity and clever ideas to work to the fullest.
