Ricardo Arnaldo Baracco Perea was born before the videogames started to be popular. He studied Communications at University of Lima because his vocational test only said so.
At the age of 20 he changed the gloves and soccer shoes for Photoshop and Word.
He started as a copywriter in JWT but he realized that he was better in visual concepts and decided to change to the art direction.
For some months he made an internship in BBDO México and afterwards returned to Peru to work for Leo Burnett Lima. In this agency he learned and increased his capacity and won a few of local, Latin American and Internationals awards with brands as El Comercio News Paper (Perú) y P&G (Perú), UPC University (Perú) BCP Bank (Perú).
After some years he returned to BBDO México as Art Director Sr. to work in a more competitive market and international brands (Doritos, Scribe Notebooks, Alka Seltzer, Mitsubishi , Snickers, m&m). Two years went by and a after a few Mexican awards he became an Associate creative director for Gillette Latin American and other brands (Tostitos, 3M (Sotchbrite), Metlife, NFL México and Cinepolis Foundation).
Since 2012 he is facing a new challenge, to be the Associate creative director to Nissan Latin America and Caribbean, a market in growth. Read Less
