Responsible for strategy and execution on digital channels. Led the Center for Digital Strategy + Services, a cross-functional team charged with web site & social media operations, digital product design, communications channel strategy, and digital domain strategy.

• Repositioned unit as intrapreneurial consulting group.
• Initiated new product development processes steeped in design thinking, data influence, lean methodologies.
• Developed multi–year roadmap for webstack with focus on moving toward a services based architecture, enhanced page level microdata, ecommerce, on-site advertising, distributed content management.

In addition to overseeing all creative work at Virid, Rob works directly with clients to establish effective and brand centric strategies for their online retail operations. He is involved in setting specific directions and goals at each stage of the design process and works with the creative group to exceed clients' expectations every day.

Additionally, Rob is responsible for discovering and analyzing internet trends to determine their impact on Virid's business and the brands they partner with. He's also personally responsible for Virid's brand management—including naming and organizing products and services—along with being in charge of all of Virid's B2B marketing efforts.

Virid has worked with a wide variety of mostly retail companies including Tory Burch, Timberland, Liz Claiborne, Bakers, Journeys, Zippo, Trina Turk, Kangol, among many others.

Proxicom

Senior Designer

Proxicom was one of the first e-services companies to form in the DC area and benefited greatly from that distinction. Before being acquired by Didata in 2001, Proxicom was known a for their strong creative work, multi-national presence, and best in class technology solutions.

Rob started as a junior designer with Proxicom and quickly moved up in the ranks because of his strong design concepts, excellent html skills, client relationship management abilities, and project leadership. Because of his reputation, he was chosen as the creative lead for Proxicom's German expansion office in Munich for a project with BMW and Rover. He also lead efforts for projects throughout Europe and the US for Saab, MCI, Merrill Lynch, and LaCaixa.
