Graphic Designer
Graphic Designer Duties:
• Review WO to determine if all information is clear and precise
• If any information is missing inform sales rep/admin assistant
• If supplied with company logo or branding information drop onto the drive for ?Our use
• Pull previous artwork from drive if required for repeat jobs
• Design full scale drawing off template, double check sizes are correct
• Make a copy of all signs off template and convert text
• Make another copy to place on template, making sure text is converted
• Place photos of accessories, rasterize to 72dpi
• Copy specifications from WO to add to template
• Add branding specifications for pantone or specific vinyl colors onto proof template
• Double check the specifications are clear & no information is missing required to produce
• Make sure WO#, company name, date, client & sales rep are correct
• Save PDF & Al file and email to sales rep cc'ing admin assistant
• Change station to proofing completed
• Once sales rep sends back approval, open pdf and review one more time ensuring all details are correct
• Drop files for internal production & email sales rep/admin stating dropped
• For OS jobs create OS files & send back to sales rep, cc'ing admin assistant
• If file size is too large - use a transfer program such as "We transfer" etc.
• Communicate with team & manager if no design tasks are required to see what projects you can assist with
• Work with clients one on one to ensure design needs are meet
