My function as Art Director is to determine the best ways to visually represent our client needs. I’m responsible for the creative / art direction of all creative projects in studio. Being a small studio I’m mostly responsible for the creative execution and roll-out of all client projects briefed. I work closely with the Account Executives to make sure the client’s needs are being met and the creative goals are on track.

I was the creative director’s apprentice, being trained and molded into taking over the reigns from her. My responsibilities also included the creative execution and roll-out of creative projects. Together with the rest of the studio we worked as a team on the conceptualisation and implementation of visual solutions and creative ideas to best communicate our clients needs, using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness successfully.

I basically created Ster-Kinekor’s internal design studio on my own from scratch. My studio was responsible for design, conceptualising and execution of creative jobs. Jobs included flyers, posters, popcorn boxes, internal newsletters, magazine advertising, brochures, CD covers, invitations, point-of-sale items etc. Also responsible for design & layout of FILMFINESSE Magazine distributed to all Cinema Nouveau theaters nationwide every 3 months.
